Wakimachi Udatsu Streetscape

Whitewashed firewalls called udatsu erected between two-storey buildings are a distinctive feature of this old-fashioned streetscape. It's the 28th streetscape to be designated by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and is among Japan's 100 picturesque streets.
